The personal injury team at Russakow, Ryan & Johnson is lead by attorneys Chet R. Bhavsar and Mark L. Russakow:
Chet Bhavsar is a 1994 graduate of Southwestern Law School. Prior to law school, Mr. Bhavsar attended the University of Southern California where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1990.
Prior to joining the law offices of Russakow, Ryan & Johnson, he was the founding partner of law offices of McNally & Bhavsar, representing injured clients and their families in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability accidents, product liability accidents, catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. His extensive litigation experience consist of numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations, through which he has been able to protect the rights of his clients, level the playing filed with the vast resources of insurance companies and recover millions of dollars for his wrongfully injured clients.
Since joining the law offices of Russakow, Ryan & Johnson, Mr. Bhavsar continues to assist injury victims in their personal injury matters. Mr. Bhavsar is admitted to practice in all California State and Federal Courts and is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and Consumer Attorneys of California.
Mark L. Russakow is a founding partner of our firm and a renowned trial lawyer who has practiced in California since 1992. He is a graduate of the University of California- Irvine and Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. In addition to his multimillion-dollar plaintiff awards and the reputation he brings to settlement negotiations, his background in insurance defense is a key advantage to our clients. His extensive litigation experience consists of numerous trials, and hundreds of arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Russakow often obtains "win-win" resolutions for his clients that avoid the necessity of protracted and expensive litigation. He has been elected a "Rising Star, Super Lawyer" in 2004, 2005 and 2006. He also serves as a legal expert and ongoing legal correspondent for KNX Radio.
Mr. Russakow is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Southern California Defense Bar, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and is admitted to practice in all California State courts, the United States District Court, Central District and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
